This pic makes is of a snow owl it makes me feel cold and scared at the same time. Cold because of the snow and how the owl blends in and how it has adapted to look like its surroundings. Scared because the owl is looking in to your soul and doesn't look happy that you are looking at him.
This snow owl looks angry, as if he is threatened by the presence of humans around his territory. He really seems to be about to attack the cameraman. That, or he just swooped down and caught a rodent of some kind. A lucky shot, and well chosen. The colors blend together well, making the image very optically palatable.
